B&B on Salt Spring Island, BC

“Thank you for sharing with us such a magical place for our family. Our days were filled with discoveries, adventures and magical moments. The kids loved the little frogs that would appear, the horses that peeked at them through the fence next door, the little bunnies in the meadow, the deer that would eat quietly with us when we went outside at , and of course, the two sheep whom they befriended and grew very fond of.

“Thank you once again for your wonderful hospitality. I believe that this was the fourth time that we have stayed at the Gite d’etape. As always we found the cottage to be beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and ever so cozy. It provided us with a much needed retreat from our hectic city lives. We love the beauty and serenity of the surroundings here within walking distance of Ruckle Park. A bientot!”

“We love the beautiful surroundings, the quiet and peacefulness, and especially the clean air. A wonderful way to unwind and refreshen the soul.”

“We want to thank you so very much for creating such a heavenly place where we got to spend three most fantastic nights ever! This place is absolutely stunning, we fell in love from the moment we saw it. Thank you for yummy baking…. We also had an amazing time exploring the island and wished we had more time….it’s almost impossible to choose where you want to go next.”

“We enjoyed our visit
so much! Your cottage is beautiful and that is an understatement. There is nothing we would have changed, and as a matter of fact, you have given me inspiration for my own renovations. The surroundings are so beautiful. We had lots of nice walks, enjoyed some cheese from the farm and of course enjoyed your delicious baking.”

“Thank you for creating this lovely place. We feel right at home for all the little things like fresh sheets and towels! The fresh baked pastries each morning are amazing. D loves the outdoor shower and I love to tease him from the front door. As always we had such a beautiful time on this island: top of Mt. Maxwell, ice cream at Harlan’s, finally tried out Hastings House restaurant, Beddis Beach and driving on these country roads.”
